Selena is the Chief Technology Officer for Sterling Software Private Limited.She is responsible for Sterling’s technology-based strategy and implementation,overseeing the software products and services that the company provides to its clients – in key areas such as Analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), consulting, dynamic workflow, and mobility.
She heads Sterling’s technology team that enables clients re-imagine their business operations with innovative and advanced technologies that drive transformative business outcomes using the company’s unique approach that leverages our out of the box thinking, digital, analytics, design thinking methodologies, and domain expertise.
Selena has been with Sterling Software from the initial days and led the development of the core Transfer Agency solution – ‘InvesTrak’ targeted for the finance and Mutual Fund vertical. She comes from a technology background with deep experience across technology stack. A proud veteran, Selena helped build the company from concept through to successful periods.
Support to Medical Centre
Anandam Trust is based at Ambattur area in the outskirt of Chennai and supports the following activities;
A. Senior Citizen Home: There are 101 inmates in this home for the aged who are destitutes and need care and help, they are completely taken care by the Trust.
B. Education Assistance:The Trust provides free tuition classes for children from underprivileged families at their premises which can accommodate about 300 children at the facility.
C. Medical Care Centre -(Supported by Sterling Software): The Medical Care Centre is supported by Sterling which is one of the main patrons of the Trust.
A lumpsum amount is donated to Anandam Trust by Sterling along with representatives of CAMS. The medical centre supports health care for underprivileged people in the area. It has a lab with all amenities for a general checkup, eye and dental care. Medicines are distributed without charge and so are Tests done without any fee.
Single Teacher Schools
Single Teacher Schools are a Unit of Vivekananda Rural Development Centre. These schools are conducted by a Teacher from the village area who show interest and a passion for teaching. They are trained to teach and conduct classes for children studying in grades/classes 1 to 5 in all subjects. These classes are conducted in the evenings.The Teachers also serve as Health Workers. They are given basic training on health issues and help the villagers to know about health and hygiene. Sterling Software has been supporting this initiative for the past 4 years.
Sterling is helping these schools in about 21 villages –15 Schools are in Kanchipuram district (Sriperumbudur) and 6 schools in villages near Coimbatore. Sterling team visited a few schools and donated a lumpsum to Vivekananda Society which facilitates the running of these schools.
